God is completely obsessed with you! How many days do you wake up feeling lonely, like no one cares about you or like no one understands you? There is a longing within all people to know that someone else is thinking about them.
God has done incredible miracles in each of our lives and has plans for every one of us. (Psalm 40:5) His plans for us are to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) He always hears us. (1 Peter 3:12) He knows the very number of hairs you have. (Luke 12:6-7) His thoughts are with us constantly and they are so many that they outnumber the grains of sand! (Psalm 139:17-18)
Psalm 139:1-16 details how involved God is with our lives. He knows when we sit down and stand up. He knows our thoughts. He knows when we leave our homes and when we go to sleep. He knows every detail of our day and our habits. He knows our words before we speak. He is not only all around us, but he keeps his hand on us all all times, which holds us and guides us. He knew us when were were in the womb and wove every DNA strand into place. He knows every day that is to come of our lives. He is with us even in the darkest moments and makes them light.
Jesus’ last words in His Great Commission are found in Matthew 28:20b: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” He wanted us to know that He is STILL always with us. God has never left you since before your birth. You are more important to God than we as humans can possibly comprehend.
"If you could have just a glimpse of what God thinks about you, you would become a new person. His esteem for you is grater than you have for yourself." - Kim Clement
I often encourage people to think back to where they were just three years ago. Think about who you were, what you were doing, and what was going on in your life then. Look at those same things about yourself today. What has changed? How has God been directing you life? Where did He blessed you and what parts of your life left you feeling empty? The only reason we don’t see God every day is that we don’t look. If we call on God, He hears us. If we search from him with out whole hearts, we will find Him, and when we find Him he will restore us. (Jeremiah 29:12-14)
I usually post things that are more challenging than encouraging. I think this is terribly challenging. Rest in God. Know that He is near. Be content with Him and in Him. Draw closer to Him.
